MY TURNING POINT


We supposed to be landed in Sydney the day after my birthday. Somehow, I changed the whole plan to cancel the ticket due to my agoraphobia. Walaupun masa ni AD dah quite improved, yet anxiety  nak dealing dengan dua anak yang baru baik demam and cranky, plus anxiety naik flight belum totally gone, terus cancel ticket. Satu tips untuk orang yang sebelum book ticket flight masih sihat tapi on that day kena AD dan rasa nak cancel ticket, boleh claim reimbursement dengan surat pengesahan doktor. Been there, done that. 

Sebab dah apply one week leave, husband brought to Cameron Highland instead. Dekat sinilah turning point macamana rasa nak change my lifestyle. Sebelum ni asyik kusut dengan attack memanjang. Sampai satu tahap, husband jadi bosan as I keep bragging about my illness. Satu benda yang kita sebagai AD sufferer kena faham, orang normal barely understand how unpleasant we are at certain situations or conditions. Sebab diaorang tak kena, so memang dorang tak akan faham. Jangan ambil hati dengan pasangan dalam tempoh ni. As long as partner membantu dari sudut lain, good enough.

Itinerary dekat Cameron just fokus on aktiviti anak rather than fulfill my list. Haha. We brought Aisy to Strawberry Farm, Butterfly Farm and lastly Sungai Palas Tea Plantation. Ok. Masa ni aku try take over driving dari hotel to Sungai Palas. Padahal lepas kena AD, tak berani sangat drive. Achievement unlocked. Start dari situ terus boleh drive balik macam biasa. Sebab tu aku kata turning point.

Satu lagi, masa nak panjat sampai atas tu, pun panic attack kejap. Tapi bila tengok anak sekecil tiga tahun semangat nak panjat sampai atas, terus panic attack hilang tiba-tiba. And suddenly I can enjoy the scenery dengan penuh rasa kesyukuran. It was my turning point yang rasa nak regular exercise lepas balik Cameron. Indeed, everyday pun workout sekarang. Even kejap.
















Dua achievement dekat Cameron, firstly boleh drive balik. Secondly, boleh exercise balik. Which is turning point that changed my lifestyle now. Kalau sebelum ada AD, exercise pun taknak. Recently dah jadi regular checklist in my daily basis. 

Owh lupa satu tips doktor, setiap kali kena panic attacks, keluar cari matahari dan jangan terperuk. InsyaAllah. Boleh bantu kurangkan wave dia.
